Joining Huume

Huume and our culture

We are a family friendly, dynamic and flexible employer. We are fully remote working, founded on the ability to work wherever and whenever suits – be that home, coffee shops, shared workspaces. This allows our employees to make the most of their time, from extended travel that mixes work and pleasure, to wrapping around childcare or life commitments. We make the most of collaboration tools such as MS Teams, as well as getting together in person. We do not plan on changing our model either, so you need not expect a sudden change to our officeless status.

You can expect:

  • 25 days holiday a year

  • Fully remote working with no requirement to be in the office (we do not have any)

  • Training opportunities to continue to evolve your skills

  • Flexible working hours, wrapping around your needs as well as business needs

  • Goal driven rather than clock driven targets

Huume and our software

Huume is a growing tech startup, founded in 2019, creating software to help housing associations and local authorities assist those in need of housing. Our cloud-based Software as a Service product is the first in the field of Choice Based Letting, Housing and Homeless Support and we are increasing our development capacity as demand increases. We are keen to continue to improve and create new features for the benefit of our clients, following the SaaS model. Data security is a top priority, as well as giving control to our clients to configure and manage their software with minimal external support.

As well as developing our software further, our developer team are also here to help resolve issues for our users, fixing bugs and improving processes based on customer feedback.
