Empower officers with the most efficient Housing solution

We are excited to announce that Huume has added many new features and functionality over the past months, many being first of its kind, so we wanted to share them with you - all continuing with the ethos of changing the way that Housing software is delivered and revolutionising Housing Officer's capabilities.

 

HOUSING REGISTER APPLICATION

The Housing Register application now provides fully customisable forms in the back office, with online versions following soon. The form editor allows you to capture the data you need and structure it into logical sections and pages.

 

BEDROOM ASSESSMENT

The Allocations Code of Guidance bedroom calculation is now a default and can used without further configuration. Custom bedroom policies are also supported. The standard functionality enables users to override calculated values, if required.

 

SEPARATE BEDROOM ASSESSMENTS

By separating bedroom calculations from the Housing Register application, it enables flexible use across all aspects of a case, including TA allocations.

 

DUPLICATE CHECKING

Huume's new intelligent matching algorithms effectively handle duplicate data. First name, family name, date of birth and NI number help identify if an individual may already exist as the data is being entered into the system. Fuzzy logic ensures even those entries with similarities will be flagged.

 

CONFIGURABLE LISTS

Fully configurable lists can now be set-up by all users. Each list can be modified to show specific fields using simple or complex filters, and the configuration can be saved for future access. Records can also be grouped by specific fields and an instant report can be downloaded.

 

FORM EDITOR ENHANCEMENTS

The form editor now allows different versions of forms to be configured completely independently. Both the online and back office versions can be structured differently allowing questions to be worded differently or administration fields only to be shown in the back office.

 

PUBLIC PORTAL

We are currently developing the public portal, with the account registration and email verification complete. The site uses a mobile first design strategy as the majority of traffic comes from mobile devices, as is fully responsive whilst providing desktop users the same high-quality experience. We are currently implementing advert functionality and property listings and will provide early views of this in our next update.

 

HOMELESS P1E APPLICATIONS

The homeless module has been extended to allow legacy P1E applications to be recorded as part of a case, which can be managed in a central location alongside all other housing needs information. The data is seamlessly captured for easy H-CLIC returns.

 

WHO12 COMPLIANT APPLICATION FORM

For Welsh authorities a new WHO12 compliant homeless application form and workflow has been created, with form editor functionality, to allow management of cases in line with the statutory requirements.
