Huume was formed in 2019, with an ethos of changing the way that Housing Needs and Homelessness software is delivered, integrating new technologies to make better use of team time and resources.

 

With over 15 years experience of building, delivering and supporting homeless and social housing systems for local authorities and housing associations, we know what works and what doesn’t.

PAUL KING

Founder & CEO

Paul previously worked at Abritas for 13 years, and 2 years at Civica, heading the development of the core housing register, choice-based lettings and homelessness management tools for over 200 local authorities.

 

Paul controlled and developed the direction of the Abritas product before setting-up Huume with the mission of redefining Housing software, making it more reliable, adaptable and incorporating modern technology.

DANIEL HAYMAN

Project Director

Daniel has worked in the field of project consultancy for over 16 years for a variety of house builders and housing associations. He has been responsible for managing digital tools and face to face communications and fronted many complex accounts for large FTSE 100 housing developers.

 

Daniel has also managed projects as diverse as the telecom network Three, and their roll-out of 3G in the Thames Valley to airports and waste facilities.

KEVIN MILLARD

Product Manager

Kevin has over 25 years' experience in a variety of roles within software service organisations; covering all aspects from system development and design through to program delivery and account management.

 

Kevin has spent the last 14 years working within the Housing sector for Abritas and then Civica. He was responsible for the direction of the of the Abritas product suite and the design of new functionality, ensuring client feedback and perspectives were always taken into account for new developments.

LISA KEMBER

Business Development Manager

Lisa has over 10 years' of business development experience, predominantly for communications companies specialising in the housing and development sector.

 

Lisa leads on business development for Huume, focusing on product awareness within local authority housing departments. This involves building relationships with their principle decision-makers and liaising with them to best understand the software solution required for each local authority in order to effectively and efficiently case-manage homelessness, housing registers and allocations.

TABERNA SANSOM

Marketing Manager

Taberna has over 20 years’ marketing experience within SMEs and large corporations, including the Housing sector, having been the Marketing Manager at Abritas and a member of the Housing Marketing team at Civica. 

Taberna is responsible for managing the company's marketing and public relations, as well as helping to establish the long-term strategy to drive lead acquisition, product penetration, brand recognition and customer loyalty.
